Meet our Maestras

  • Maestra Lulú

    Maestra Lulú is from Puerto Rico and studied early childhood learning while there. She has worked with small children for many years and is currently pursuing her Montessori certification.

    Maestra Lulú has been running Spanish Storytime at Luna y Cielo for over a year.

  • Maestra Magaly

    Magaly Cordero-Dietz is the owner and primary teacher of Pop-Up Music School. An active performer and educator in Chicago, she has been performing classical music throughout the Midwest for over 15 years and is a proud member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus.

    Maestra Magaly holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts.

  • Maestra Areli

    Maestra Delgado obtained an Early Childhood Education Concentration from Dominican University and has 5 years of teaching experience in the traditional dual language classroom (classroom consisting of native English speakers, Native Spanish speakers, and other Spanish speakers of varying fluency integrated for instruction so that all groups serve each other in the language learning process).

    Maestra Delgado also has a certification from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) ensuring her linguistic ease, competence, and confidence in the Spanish and English languages.
