Las Posadas con Walking Amigas
We are seeking Sponsors for our Posadas Celebration!
Las Posadas is a beautiful Mexican tradition where we re-enact María y José asking for shelter—pidiendo posada—as they prepared for the birth of baby Jesús. This heartfelt moment is brought to life through a call-and-response song, Las Posadas, symbolizing the journey, the struggle, and ultimately, the joy of finding community and welcome.
After the singing, we’ll gather to enjoy tamales, buñuelos, y champurrado as we celebrate together. To keep this event accessible for our families, we are seeking sponsors who can help us bring this tradition to life.
This year, we are intentionally sourcing all food from a street vendor impacted by the recent ICE raids to offer economic support and solidarity.
